Donate a Christian book each month to your local lending library. Many of these have poor budgets and limited amounts of decent Christian books. Pick some books that give some good testimony or good accessible Christian teaching.
Books such as:
'Questions of Life' by Nicky Gumbel
'More than Meets the Eye' by Steve Chalke
'Cross and the Switchblade' (can't remember the author)
'Chasing the Dragon' by Jackie Pullinger
Also, consider encouraging your corps to give some decent literature about the Army. Maybe even submit a weekly War Cry.
